About Linda...
The
summer of 2000 I met my first Weimaraner (a customers dog) and
immediately fell in love with the elegance of these beautiful
"Gray Ghosts". While doing extensive research, I found Chris' website and after several emails and phone conversations
spanning 2 years, purchased my first Weimaraner puppy "Gabi" from Chris in the spring of 2002. Our
friendship evolved to a partnership when I began bragging to Chris
about the wonderful nose this young pup had for following human
scent. She introduced us to the sport of AKC
Tracking.... Gabi and I were both hooked and as they say "the rest is
history". We became the first Weim team to achieve the coveted title
of Champion Tracker!
Later
that same year while in Michigan training Gabi for tracking, I met Jobe
(pictured above), a 4 yr old male rescue who became my second
Weimaraner. Although Jobe is now gone, he cemented my deep love of the
breed and will be in my heart forever. I now have a second male Doppler, who I co-own with Chris, along with Kya and Smooch.
For the last 9 years I have enjoyed helping homeless Weims in need as relinquishment coordinator for Michigan Weim Rescue. I also teach obedience class weekly for my local kennel club and am a board member for the Southern Michigan Weimaraner Club.
