Zinc and Kya's puppies have begun their competitive careers! Jada, pink pup, won her class at the huge New York Wine Country Cluster and passed her certification to enter tracking tests. Otto, green pup, has been training for NAVHDA NA test in the spring of 2011 and will also begin his show career shortly.
When researching potential stud dogs, we not only look at titles achieved, body structure and health clearances... we also look for a dog that will compliment our female's temperament and whose owners are as excited as we are about the breeding and prospective puppies. We have found just that with Zinc and his mom Michelle!
You will have a "family history" with Zinc, as Michelle and her husband Stan, not only own Zinc's mom Ella, but also his grandmother Anja. Zinc, as described by Michelle... "Zinc, is a sweet tempered but bold male. He achieved his JH title at 6 mo. of age and passed his TD test with very little training. He’s working on higher levels of tracking, hunting, practicing his retrieving skills, and is training for his obedience title. He is very biddable and loves to be around puppies. Watch for this talented boy!"
Zinc is not only a very handsome dog, as shown by his placement in his Futurity class, he is extremely intelligent. Chris had the pleasure of having Zinc spend time in her home last fall while Michelle began training with us for his advanced tracking titles and Linda had him stay with her for the breeding... Spring should not only bring this team their Senior Hunter title, but their TDX and VST titles as well!
